Club Property
Please leave club property such as
tables, benches, barbecues, umbrellas and the like
where the club has placed them. Lounge chairs
are for use on a "first come, first served" basis.
Please be considerate of the other members and do
not reserve chairs for members who will be arriving
later. When you will not be occupying the
chairs for a period of time, please remove towels
and personal items so that others may use them.
Hot Tub
For health
and safety reasons, the hot tub may only be used by
members and quests over the age of 18. Avoid
loss of privileges and keep small children out of
the tub. Also, please refrain from bringing
breakable items into the tub or tub area.
POOL FOR SMALL CHILDREN
Parents
are responsible for watching their children at all
times, especially when using the Kiddy Pool and
other pool facilities at the club.
There is NO
LIFEGUARD at the Kiddy Pool. Children
who are not toilet trained MUST wear cloth diapers
and or rubber pants. Be advised the use of
paper-type diapers (Pampers) is not permitted as
these will disintegrate in the water and will
inhibit the efficiency of the pool filtering
systems. Cloth diapers covered by rubber pants
are the best alternative.


The goal of the Driftwood Swim Team is to instill in
children an understanding of teamwork,
competitiveness, self-discipline and team spirit as
well as enjoyment. We cannot run meets without
the involvement of the swim team parents as judges,
timers, etc. Parent participation is greatly
appreciated by the Driftwood staff as well as
swimmers. Head Coach for the 2004 season will
be Crystal Irwin, assisted by Sean Sullivan.
The swim team is open to members between the ages of
5 and 17.
Prerequisites for team participation are:
Registration Fees:
First child in family
$75.00
2nd child in family
$65.00
3rd Child or additional $55.00
Registration fees cover the cost of swim team
shirts, ribbons, trophies, team photo, staffing and
end of season party
PRACTICE
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
4:00 to 5:00 pm youngest group
5:00 to 6:00pm middle group
6:00 to 7:00pm oldest group
